Buzzr

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 5, 2026

1. Overview

Buzzr (“Buzzr,” “we,” “us”) provides an AI-assisted content analysis application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website, APIs, and related features—including when you sign in with Google or with email and password.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account and authentication. When you create or access an account, our authentication provider (Neon Auth) processes credentials and session data. Depending on how you sign in, this may include your name, email address, internal user identifier, and (for Google sign-in) profile information allowed by your Google account settings and the OAuth consent you grant.

Content you submit for analysis. You may provide plain text and upload files (such as PDFs, images, or videos) for analysis. That content is sent to our servers and to third-party AI and infrastructure providers as described below so we can run the analysis and return results to you.

Chat experience in your browser. Conversation threads and messages you see in the app are stored locally in your browser (for example, using browser storage) so they persist across visits on the same device. This data is not written to our application database as part of the chat feature.

Usage and plan data. We record usage tied to your account to enforce monthly analysis limits and plan type (for example, counting analysis events per billing period). We store subscription-related fields needed to operate paid plans.

Preferences. We may store settings such as your preferred language for AI responses.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our payment partner (Midtrans). We receive and store identifiers and status information needed to manage your subscription; we do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers—card data is handled by Midtrans according to its practices.

Technical data. Like most web services, our hosting environment may automatically collect standard technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps in server or security logs. We use this to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
  • To authenticate you, protect accounts, and prevent abuse.
  • To run AI analysis on the content you submit and return results to you.
  • To enforce usage limits, manage subscriptions, and process payments.
  • To comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights and safety.

4. AI processing and uploads

To analyze your content, we send relevant inputs (including text and file-derived content) to third-party AI providers. Depending on the type of request, this may include xAI (Grok models) and Google (for certain multimodal or video-related processing). Those providers process data under their own terms and policies.

Large uploads may be stored temporarily with Vercel Blob (or a comparable file service) so our backend can retrieve and process them. Files may be deleted after processing as part of normal operation.

Do not submit information you are not allowed to share, or highly sensitive personal data (such as government ID numbers, full payment card data, or health records), unless you accept the risk that such data may be processed by us and our subprocessors to provide the Service.

5. How we share information

We share information with:

  • Infrastructure providers that host the Service, store data, or provide authentication (including Neon for database and auth-related services, and Vercel for hosting and file storage).
  • AI providers as needed to perform analysis (such as xAI and Google).
  • Payment processors (Midtrans) to complete transactions you initiate.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention

We retain account, subscription, usage, and preference data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Content you submit for analysis is processed to deliver results; we do not use the chat UI’s local storage as our server-side record of your conversations. Temporary copies on infrastructure or AI systems are governed by those providers’ retention practices.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to or port data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (for example, disconnecting Google from your Google account settings), subject to limitations needed to provide the Service or comply with law.

To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us using the email shown at the bottom of this page. We may need to verify your request.

9. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards or rely on permitted legal mechanisms for cross-border transfers.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised policy.
